Singer Geri Halliwell has admitted she didn't mind being booed by the crowd when she stood in for Dannii Minogue at the The X Factor auditions. Well that’s good because she got plenty of it!

The former Spice Girl fell foul of the audience at the Glasgow auditions where she took part, due to her outspokenness and failure to put several popular local acts through to the next round.

However she told The Sun that she enjoyed taking over from Simon Cowell as the judge with the reputation for being nasty.

"I can't believe I am getting booed. I am the villain! It is addictive being booed," Geri said.

"I am learning to like it. It is a really nice sensation. I am more unpopular than Simon Cowell. He is just a bit sore. Deep down he is annoyed I nicked his boos."

It seems Louis Walsh wasn’t very happy with her either, adding: "I can't believe it," he said. "She is so out of touch. She just wasn't very good."

I was actually quite shocked when the voiceover on X Factor reminded us all that Geri has actually sold over 12 million solo singles. When did she sell all those?
